Erie Canal Clean Sweep

Our original planned day for the Erie Canal Clean Sweep was postponed due to inclement weather. The rain date is this coming weekend.

Join us on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. @ Lauraville Landing to help clean up along the Erie Canal. Hot Dog roast will follow.

Calling All Clyde Groups

This Thursday, the 28th of April, all Clyde service groups will be getting together for one big meeting.

The meeting will be held at Donselaar’s and will start at 7:00 PM.

The purpose of this meeting is to have open discussion amongst Clyde service organizations about how to work together for the benefit of all of Clyde, as well as for sharing ideas and talking about each group’s current events and efforts.

Clyde Community Players to Open for Peppermint Days – Holding Auditions on April 9th

Notice for the Clyde Community Players:

The Clyde Community Players have been asked by the Lyons Peppermint Days Committee to kick off Peppermint Days with a performance of “ANNIE” at the Ohman Theatre for July 7th with a black tie reception at Studebaker’s Restaurant after the play, another show, a matinee on Sat., July 9th for young people, with a “meet the cast” event afterwards and our final show on Sunday evening at 7pm.

In preparation for Annie – we need players, back stage crew, prop designers and makers, help with costumes and props, this will be a HUGE event and we really need a lot of help!

To get all of us ready – we will be hosting a viewing of the movie version of ANNIE at the Clyde VFW on Sat., April 3rd at 2pm for people who are interested in being in the show or helping out.  We will have script pages and music pages available to take home to prepare for auditions on Sat., April 9th at the Grange beginning at 10am with the orphan (between 2nd and 7th graders) auditions and then following with the rest of the other adult roles until 3:30pm.
